The romance between Jennifer Love-Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy has finally fizzled out. Some are speculating on whether the break-up was caused by infidelity or some other drama, but sources close to the couple are saying it was amicable.
The two remain to be friends, says one source. “It wasn’t contentious. It had kind of just run its course … They just sort of looked at each other and said, ‘We like each other and we make each other laugh, but this isn’t for the long-term.’ ”
Some say their hectic schedules may have been the cause as Hewitt is preparing for an upcoming Lifetime movie, and getting ready for a tour to promote her first book, The Day I Shot Cupid, set to be released this month.
“She’s working constantly, and Jamie’s working on the show and touring [with his stand-up comedy act]. It just isn’t conducive to a relationship,” says the source.
